Solar recipe: asparagus with mint and lemon

Discover this original recipe for asparagus with mint and lemon, tested and approved with the Suntube XL solar cooking tube. This recipe, made with the Sungood XL multi-cooker solar oven, is presented to us by our Solar Sister Gaelle!   • Two bunches of green asparagus
  • A large lemon
  • Three sprigs of fresh mint
  • Olive oil, salt and pepper

Preparing asparagus with mint and lemon

  • Cut off the stalks of green asparagus and peel off the ends if they are too tough. Spread them on the bottom of the tube container. Count on one bunch of asparagus for the classic SunTube, and two bunches for the SunTube XL.
  • Top with lemon slices, fresh mint, a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for around 40 minutes, until the asparagus has reached the desired texture.
