Solar recipe: zucchini-hedgehog
The sun is shining in Alsace, and our Solar Sister Francine took advantage of it to prepare this recipe for zucchini-hedgehog. This seasonal recipe was made with the SunGood 360 multi-cooker solar oven multi-cooking solar oven, which can prepare meals for 2 to 3 people at cooking temperatures ranging from 180°C to 240°C. Francine also shares her tips and tricks for successful solar cooking.

Ingredients for 2 people
- 1 zucchini
- 1 large white onion
- a few very thin slices of smoked bacon
- a few slices of cheese
- 4 tbsp. fresh cream
Preparing the zucchini-hedgehog
- Thinly slice the zucchini and onion.
- Cut each slice of bacon into 3 or 4 pieces.
- Interleave slices of zucchini, onion and bacon.
- Top with a few slices of cheese.
- Add the crème fraîche.
- Personally, I didn’t season it, as the bacon gave it enough flavor.
- After 30 minutes of cooking in the tube, it’s excellent!
