Aids and subsidies for professionals

Restaurateurs & hosts, accelerate your ecological transition! For all projects promoting the energy and ecological transition, ADEME has set up grants for all economic players: associations, local authorities, administrations, companies and research organizations.

The Sustainable Tourism Fund

The Sustainable Tourism Fund is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses involved in catering and/ortourist accommodation (SAS, SCOP, associations under the law of 1901, etc.) and local authorities operating a tourist activity on their own, located in rural or suburban areas.

The objectives

The aid of the Sustainable Tourism Fund aims to:
- Reduce and control fixed costs (energy, water, waste, food waste, transport);
- Encourage the anchoring in the territories (short circuits of proximity and quality, perennial synergies with the actors of local tourism and local producers);
- Training, labeling and communicating on the ecological commitment.
Aid can reach a maximum of €200,000.

Products eligible for this program

The amount of financial aid varies between 2500 and 5000 € for the acquisition of the following equipment:
- The solar cookers, ovens or barbecues
- The Norwegian pot
- The solar dehydrators

Example of a selected project

The Mas Rouveyrac extends over 11 hectares above the village of Cros in the Cevennes. The gite, the guest rooms and the yurt can accommodate up to 15 people. The ecological place is open all year round and is committed to Slow Tourism. Mas Rouveyrac welcomes its guests in a friendly and participative spirit. Numerous workshops and visits are offered to recharge your batteries, discover the history, taste the many local products, learn about the neighboring crafts and become aware of the ecological transition.

The solar cooking is positioned in an ecological approach and energy transition of the site. The solar oven also makes it possible to compensate for the ban on BBQs in the summer and to avoid overheating inside the Gîte when using the oven or the stove. A solar dryer is in place for drying mushrooms, fruits, chestnuts and draff (valorization of the cereals used for the locally made beer).

Within the framework of the sustainable tourism fund of the ADEME with the help of the CCI of Nîmes, Mas Rouveyrac was able to obtain aid up to 80% of the amount invested. This is a simplified process compared to the usual aid from the region or Europe.
