Youtopia event

On the occasion of the COP26, YouTube launches the first edition of YouTopia France at the GoodPlanet foundation of Yann Arthus-Bertrand. In order to raise awareness of climate issues among young people, a 14-hour live event featuring youtubers, influencers and guests such as Léa Camilleri, Henry Tran, Baptiste Lorber, Swann Périssé took place on November 05, 2021.

The aim of this event is to allow young people to ask their questions about the environment and global warming to experts in order to better understand the issues and the possible actions to be taken.
We had the honour to participate in this event with our partner Corentin de Chatelperron from Low-tech Lab concerning the means of food preservation where we had the opportunity to present the Sunchef solar oven and our future solar dehydrator.

Our solar dryer rises to less than 50°C, the ideal temperature for drying your fruits, vegetables, herbs for tea or seasoning, an almost unlimited range of choices. It is a conservation technique that allows you to preserve surplus food such as dried mangoes, dried tomatoes, apple crisps... it's anti-gaspi and we enjoy it!

It was a real pleasure to share this moment with people who have the same values as Solar Brother but also to meet the great explorer Mike Horn with whom we exchanged.

YouTopia was an opportunity for us to further democratise the use of solar energy, a clean and unlimited energy!
