How the GoSun Go portable solar cooker works

The two unfolding reflectors capture the Sun’s rays and concentrate them in the vacuum tube, which rapidly heats up.

Thanks to their parabolic shape, the oven will have no trouble catching the maximum amount of the sun’s rays, minimizing the need to readjust the oven to face the sun.

The heart of the GoSun’s cooking technology lies in its cooking chamber and vacuum tube. When filled with food, the tube absorbs light and acts as an insulator, making cooking in the cold and wind disconcertingly easy.

The furnace’s parabolic reflectors capture both direct and diffused light. This means that the solar cooker requires virtually no readjustment to the sun, making year-round meals a breeze.

Working together, GoSun’s parabolic reflectors and vacuum tube convert almost 80% of all sunlight reaching the reflectors into usable heat. The vacuum tube insulation keeps this heat in, making all your meals hot, for hours on end, all year round.
