Ingredients

  • a packet of ravioli dough (or “wontons”, available in Asian grocery stores)
  • 400 grams pork sauté or chicken breast
  • two sprigs of cébette
  • an egg white
  • soy sauce
  • sesame oil
  • rice wine
  • sugar

Preparation of Chinese steamed ravioli

  • Chop the meat with a knife or blender. You can replace some of the pork with shrimp if you like, for a more gourmet result.
  • Add the chopped spring onion, egg white, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and rice wine. Mix well until you have a well-seasoned paste.
  • To stuff the ravioli, place a square of dough on your hand. Place a dumpling of filling in the center and tighten the edges of the dough to form a generous bite. Note that, unlike fried ravioli, you don’t need to seal them tightly – the filling can remain visible.
  • Place the ravioli in the bottom of the Suntube dish, with a little oil or parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Bake for 20-30 min in the preheated tube, depending on the day’s weather conditions.

Serve with rice or pan-fried Asian vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
