Discover this original recipe for tagine-style lamb, tested and approved with the SunGlobe parabolic solar cooker. Ingredients

  • 2 slices leg of lamb
  • 1 handful raisins and almonds
  • seasonal vegetables (turnips, carrots, peppers, zucchinis… your choice!)
  • 1 can peeled tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon cumin, 1 teaspoon turmeric, paprika

Preparing tajine-style lamb

  • Place all the ingredients in a suitable pot: diced meat and vegetables, dried fruit, spices and peeled tomatoes. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little water.
  • Let the sun do its work… this type of dish can simmer for quite a while, checking from time to time that it’s not sticking, you can leave it to cook until the lamb is melting.
  • Serve sprinkled with fresh coriander, with semolina or bulgur.
